Talking Helps
Psychotherapy is a transformative journey towards resilience and growth. It fosters self-awareness and nurtures self-compassion, revealing inner strengths that empower us to navigate life's many challenges.
By providing a safe space, therapy allows for the exploration, understanding and transformation of our emotional pain. It enables us to recognize patterns of thinking and behaviors that have become inefficient while arming us with useful methods of coping.
We all face struggles from time to time. It's courageous to reach out for help. Through therapy we reclaim our voice, forge healthier relationships, and discover renewed hope.
Dr. Christina Collins, Ph.D.
Hi, I’m Dr. Christina Collins (she/her/hers).
I’m a depth-trained therapist, and relational healing advocate. I specialize in working with individuals and couples who are ready to move beyond survival patterns and into meaningful connection—with themselves, their stories, and their relationships.
I founded Soul Speak Psychotherapy as a space where therapy becomes more than just talk—it becomes a deeply embodied, compassionate, and often transformational process. My work weaves together nervous system awareness (polyvagal-informed), Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work), and PACT couples therapy to support clients in healing trauma, repairing disconnection, and creating new possibilities in their lives.
Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck in patterns of high-functioning anxiety, relational conflict, emotional overwhelm, or internal disconnection. Others are on a spiritual or healing journey and want a guide who can hold space for both the psychological and the soulful. Some are couples seeking to repair after rupture, or build secure functioning in a way they never knew was possible.
I believe we all carry wisdom—and that even the parts of us that feel messy or unwanted are trying to protect something important. Therapy, to me, is the work of gently befriending those parts, understanding your nervous system, and learning how to live (and love) from a more grounded, authentic place.
Alongside traditional talk therapy, I also offer psychedelic integration, trauma-informed somatic work, and spiritual exploration for those seeking deeper meaning. Whether you're on the edge of a big transition, in a season of grief, or navigating relational pain, I’d be honored to walk with you.
You don’t have to do it all alone. Your story deserves to be heard—and healed.
I earned my doctoral degree in clinical psychology and my masters degree in Integral Theory. I am currently a full⁃time faculty member in the psychology department at the University of Colorado Denver. I am also a certified yoga instructor of eight years.
Dr. Christina Collins is a psychologist candidate in the state of Colorado, working under supervision while completing postdoctoral requirements for licensure.
